Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose (bulking agent), hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (capsule shell), cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), menaquinone-7 (vitamin K2), gum arabic (stabilizer), coconut oil, corn syrup*, silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent), sodium ascorbate (antioxidant).

*Corn syrup is required as an excipient in the vitamin D3 complex from lichen and is only contained < 5 mg per capsule.

Vitamin D3 is formed in the skin by self-synthesis from cholesterol with the help of sunlight. A small amount is also absorbed through food, e.g. fatty fish, egg yolk or edible mushrooms. Vitamin D3 promotes the absorption of calcium and phosphate from food and ensures that minerals are deposited in bones and teeth. We need vitamin D3 for normal bone and tooth formation during growth, as well as for the maintenance of teeth, bones and bone density in adulthood. Vitamin D3 is purely plant-based and is obtained from natural lichen plants.

Vitamin K2 (menaquinone) is produced by bacteria and is also formed in varying quantities in the intestine. It helps to prevent and support the treatment of osteoporosis and balances blood clotting.

Vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 work synergistically, i.e. they work as a team. They must be present in sufficient quantities to ensure optimal biological activity, especially in bone metabolism.

Recommended intake: As a dietary supplement 1 capsule every 4 days or as directed by your therapist.

Note: For long-term use, the vitamin D and calcium levels in the blood serum should be checked regularly.
The simultaneous intake of anticoagulants (Marcumar®, ^Xarelto®) should only be carried out in consultation with the therapist.
