Tart and spicy herbal tea made from the crushed herb of rockrose. Cistus is a traditional household remedy in the Mediterranean region, especially in Greece.

Cistus is a small shrub that is mainly native to Mediterranean regions. Cistus leaves have been used internally and externally for thousands of years, not only in Greek folk medicine, due to their valuable ingredients. Aurica rockrose tea is characterized by its aromatic, spicy taste. Cistus tea tastes particularly good when rounded off with a little honey or lemon juice.

Preparation: Pour boiling water over 1 - 2 teaspoons for 1 cup and leave to infuse for 3-5 minutes, then strain.
