Herbal medicine for the treatment of disorders of the bile flow with digestive complaints such as bloating and flatulence. The tea contains bitter substances and stimulates the appetite.
Aurica Dandelion Tea is made from the dried and cut herb and root pieces of Taraxacum officinale. Dandelion contains natural bitter substances and has a positive effect on the entire digestive system. It stimulates the production of gastric juice and bile acid and can therefore contribute to a functioning digestive system. Dandelion is traditionally used to treat poor fat digestion.
Dosage instructions and use: Unless otherwise prescribed, drink half a cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows 2 - 3 times a day before meals to stimulate the appetite and 1 cup after meals: Pour boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over 1 tablespoon of dandelion (approx. 1.5 g) and leave to infuse for approx. 10 - 15 minutes.
Duration of use: If symptoms persist for longer than 1 week or recur periodically, a doctor should be consulted. The leaflet cannot replace your consultation with a doctor or pharmacist. Only they can decide if and when you need to take a medicine.
Contraindications: Not to be used in case of obstruction of the bile ducts, intestinal obstruction and gallbladder inflammation and in case of known hypersensitivity to dandelion.
Only use in the case of gallstone disease after consulting a doctor.
The widespread use of dandelion root as a medicinal product or in food has not yet given rise to any indications of risks. However, there are no sufficient studies on the use of dandelion during pregnancy and breastfeeding or in children under the age of 12. Tea infusions made from dandelion should therefore not be drunk by this group of people.
Side effects: As with all drugs containing bitter substances, symptoms may occur due to excessively acidic gastric juice. In rare cases of hypersensitivity to dandelion, itching and reddening of the skin may also occur. If these side effects occur, the medicine should no longer be taken.
If you experience any side effects not listed here, please report them to your doctor or pharmacist.
Keep out of the reach of children.
