Olive trees can reach the biblical age of 1000 years and more. This is thanks to the phenolic compounds - in particular "oleuropein". Oleuropein is found in the leaves, fruit, roots and bark of the tree and protects the olive tree against insects and fungi.

Oleuropein is a bitter-tasting polyphenol that is found in very high quantities in the leaf and only in small quantities in the fruit (i.e. in olive oil). However, the concentration of oleuropein is an important factor in the production and selection of olive leaf extract.

The leaves, which are used as raw materials for the extraction, are harvested manually shortly before the olive tree blossoms. The fresh leaves are extracted immediately after harvesting without storage in a gentle process.

Recommended intake: Take 3 x one capsule daily with liquid. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

One capsule contains 500 mg olive leaf extract (of which 100 mg oleuropein)
