What is PEA?

PEA stands for PALMITOYLETHANOLAMID. PEA is a natural, protective fat molecule that is produced in our bodies as well as in animals and plants. PEA is found in small amounts in foods such as meat, eggs, soybeans and peanuts. Nobel Prize winner Rita Levi-Montalcini identified PEA as a naturally occurring molecule in the 1990s and found out how it works in the body. Following her discovery, hundreds of scientific studies were conducted on PEA and its mechanisms of action, with more than 300 publications.

Good absorption

In certain situations where there is an increased need, it may be appropriate to take PEA additionally in the form of a dietary supplement. As PEA is an endogenous substance, it is excellently absorbed from the intestine and easily transported to the tissues. After use, it is simply broken down into its components in the cell.

For optimal absorption and utilization of PEA, it is very important to choose a dietary supplement with the highest possible purity and high dosage.

^PurePEA® contains 400 mg of pure palmitoylethanolamide per vegetarian capsule without unnecessary additives.

Each batch of ^PurePEA® is analyzed for quality and purity in an independent laboratory.

Recommended intake: For the first two months, take one capsule three times a day with a meal and plenty of water or as prescribed. The daily dose can also be taken in two portions (e.g. two capsules in the morning and one capsule in the evening). If necessary, the capsules can be opened, then pour the contents onto a spoon and sprinkle under the tongue. Allow the powder to dissolve as completely as possible in the mouth.

Users of ^PurePea® usually notice an improvement in the first few weeks of use. The effect of ^PurePea® can only be properly assessed after two to three months of consistent use. From this point on, it becomes clear whether longer use makes sense. If the desired effect is achieved after two months, the dosage can in many cases be reduced to 2 x 1 capsule or 1 capsule per day.

If the result decreases after lowering the dose, it is recommended to increase the dosage again to 2 x 1 or 3 x 1 capsules per day.

Note: In the case of clinical liver or kidney insufficiency, it may be advisable to build up the dosage slowly. Start with one capsule a day and increase to the normal daily dose of 3 capsules within a week. There is insufficient knowledge about the safety of ^PurePea® during pregnancy. It is therefore not recommended to take it during pregnancy.
