MeineBase alkaline mineral body care salt is ideal for full baths, sitz baths, shower baths, foot and hand baths and wraps. Alkaline body care with an optimum pH value of the bath water of approx. pH 8.5.

In the times of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and the Romans, body care was alkaline. These cultures used baking soda, milk or alkaline soap for body care. Grandma's curd compresses are also part of alkaline body care. In the past, even the entire care of the elderly was carried out with liquid soft soap with pH values of over 9.0. In the ancient cultures of Japan and Mexico, even hour-long alkaline baths are a tradition and are still practiced there today for the benefit of body and soul. The MeineBase bath salt concentrate with a pH value of 8.0 - 8.5, depending on the initial value and degree of hardness of the tap water, is part of the proven tradition of alkaline body care.

Application: A bath temperature of approx. 36-38°C is recommended. The bath should last at least 30 minutes, ideally 45 - 60 minutes. You need three tablespoons of MeineBase for a full bath and one heaped tablespoon for a sitz bath. One heaped teaspoon is sufficient for salt wraps, rinses and foot baths.
