Lichtyam® refers to a variety of Chinese yam (Dioscorea batatas) grown at Andreashof according to Demeter guidelines, also known as 'light root'. This yam has had a firm place in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for centuries and is often referred to as 'Shan Yao' or mountain medicine. From a TCM perspective, Shan Yao strengthens Qi (life force) and has a harmonizing effect on the body and mind. The plant was also recommended by anthroposophist Rudolf Steiner as an important part of the diet.
From German cultivation in Überlingen on Lake Constance. Harvesting is done by hand and processing is done at low temperatures to ensure raw food quality.
Directions: Take 1-3 knife tips of Lichtyam® powder daily, pure, in drinks or with food.
