Lichtyam® is a variety of Chinese yam (Dioscorea batatas) grown at Andreashof according to Demeter guidelines, also known as 'light root'. This yam has had a firm place in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for centuries and is often referred to as "Shan Yao" or mountain medicine. According to TCM, Shan Yao strengthens the Qi (life force) and has a harmonizing effect on body and mind. The plant was also recommended by anthroposophist Rudolf Steiner as an important part of the diet.

From German cultivation in Überlingen on Lake Constance. Harvested by hand and processed at low temperatures to ensure raw food quality.

Directions: Take 1-3 pinches of Lichtyam® powder daily on its own, in drinks or with food.
